Successo per il nuovo format della Presentazione delle Nazioni, con la sfilata a piedi dei partecipanti. Oltre 25 nazioni presenti. In serata il via ufficiale al Palamontepaschi

Oltre 25 differenti nazioni a sfilare. Ognuna con il proprio gruppo di rappresentati, il portabandiera e il proprio inno. Non è un’anteprima delle prossime Olimpiadi, ma quanto accaduto questa mattina a Chianciano Terme, dove è andata in scena la Presentazione delle Nazioni, l’evento che ha dato il via alla 77° edizione del Rally FIM. Dall’Austria alla Spagna, passando per Messico, Libia, Finlandia, Norvegia, Francia, Portogallo, Danimarca. Gli oltre 1000 motociclisti giunti da tutt’Europa e non solo per prendere parte all’evento Mototuristico più importante del 2024, hanno colorato le strade dello splendido centro storico di Chianciano, dando vita ad un format tutto nuovo per la manifestazione. Dopo aver lasciato le loro moto infatti, i partecipanti, raggruppati per nazione di provenienza, hanno sfilato a piedi per le strade di Chianciano. Passando ognuno sotto l’ormai iconico arco targato Rally FIM e, bandiera alla mano, cantando il proprio inno nazionale. Ad impreziosire il tutto e a sottolineare il legame con il territorio ospitante, era presente anche il gruppo di sbandieratori e tamburini della Pro Loco locale, che ha dato un suggestivo tocco storico-rinascimentale all’evento, perfettamente in linea con la location, il centro di Chianciano appunto. La chiusura della Presentazione delle Nazioni è toccata, come da tradizione, ai motocilisti italiani. Italia che, in quanto nazione organizzatrice dell’evento, è fuori classifica.

Alla manifestazione sono intervenuti, tra gli altri, la sindaca di Chianciano Torelli Grazia, il Direttore della Commissione Turistica FIM Nuno Trêpa Leite, il FIM Deputy CEO and Operations Director Damiano Zamana e il Vice Presidente FMI nonché Coordinatore della Commissione Turistica e Tempo Libero FMI, Rocco Lopardo. Dopo la presentazione, spazio alla scoperta del territorio. E dei suoi prodotti migliori. Tutti i motociclisti hanno infatti visitato Chianciano e, grazie al supporto della Pro Loco, degustato alcuni dei migliori prodotti culinari che la zona offre, come cantucci e pici fatti a mano al momento.

In serata tutti i partecipanti si sono ritrovati al Palamontepaschi, dove l’apertura del Rally FIM 2024 è stata ufficialmente annunciata da Nuno Trêpa Leite e Rocco Lopardo, prima di lasciare spazio alla festa e all’intrattenimento musicale.

Nuno Leite, Direttore Commissione Turistica FIM: “Oggi si è aperto il Rally FIM e sono certo che, grazie alla collaborazione tra la Federazione Internazionale di Motociclismo e la Federazione Motociclistica Italiana, questa edizione regalerà grandi emozioni a tutti i partecipanti. L’alto numero di iscrizioni testimonia che il Mototurismo è in salute e che i motociclisti hanno forte desiderio di condivisione e voglia di moto. Saluto a nome della FIM tutti loro. Buon Rally FIM!”

Giovanni Copioli, Presidente FMI: “Sono entusiasta dell’inizio di questo Rally FIM. Dopo oltre due anni di lavoro è cominciato un evento che ci vede protagonisti sotto il profilo organizzativo per conto della Federazione Internazionale di Motociclismo. Il nostro obiettivo è accogliere al meglio gli oltre 1000 motociclisti accorsi in Italia e mostrare loro tutto ciò che il nostro Paese può offrire. Ringrazio il Comune di Chianciano Terme, il Comune di Città della Pieve, i nostri Moto Club e Tesserati e tutte le realtà che ci stanno consentendo di realizzare questa manifestazione”.

Rocco Lopardo, Vice Presidente FMI e Direttore dell’evento: “E’ un orgoglio poter mostrare le bellezze della Toscana e dell’Italia a tutti gli iscritti al Rally FIM. Over 25 different nations . Each with its own group of representatives, its standard bearer and its own anthem. It is not a preview of the next Olympics, but what happened this morning in Chianciano Terme, where the Presentation of the Nations took place, the event that kicked off the 77th edition of the FIM Rally. From Austria to Spain,  through Mexico, Libya, Finland, Norway, France, Portugal, Denmark. The over 1000 motorcyclists who came from all over Europe and beyond to take part in the most important motorbike touring event of 2024 colored the streets of the splendid historic center of Chianciano, giving life to a completely new format for the event. In fact, after leaving their motorbikes, the participants, grouped by country of origin, marched on foot through the streets of Chianciano. Each passing under the now iconic FIM Rally arch and, flag in hand, singing their national anthem. To embellish everything and underline the link with the host territory, the group of flag-wavers and drummers from the local Pro Loco was also present, which gave an evocative historical-Renaissance touch to the event, perfectly in line with the location, the center of Chianciano precisely. The closing of the Presentation of Nations fell, as per tradition, to the Italian motorcyclists. Italy which, as the organizing nation of the event, is out of the rankings.

The event was attended by, among others, the mayor of Chianciano Torelli Grazia, the Director of the FIM Tourist Commission Nuno Trêpa Leite, the FIM Deputy CEO and Operations Director Damiano Zamana and the FMI Vice President as well as Coordinator of the FMI Tourist and Leisure Commission, Rocco Lopardo. After the presentation, time to discover the area. And its best products. In fact, all the motorcyclists visited Chianciano and, thanks to the support of the Pro Loco, tasted some of the best culinary products that the area offers, such as cantucci and pici handmade at the moment.

In the evening all the participants met at Palamontepaschi, where the opening of the 2024 FIM Rally was officially announced by Nuno Trêpa Leite and Rocco Lopardo, before leaving room for the party and musical entertainment.

Nuno Leite, Director of the FIM Tourist Commission: “Today the FIM Rally opened and I am sure that, thanks to the collaboration between the International Motorcycling Federation and the Italian Motorcycling Federation, this edition will give great emotions to all participants. The high number of registrations demonstrates that motorbike tourism is healthy and that motorcyclists have a strong desire to share and enjoy motorbikes. I greet all of them on behalf of the FIM. Happy FIM Rally!”

Giovanni Copioli, FMI President: “I am enthusiastic about the start of this FIM Rally. After more than two years of work, an event has begun in which we are protagonists from an organizational point of view on behalf of the International Motorcycling Federation. Our goal is to best welcome the over 1000 motorcyclists who have come to Italy and show them everything that our country can offer. I thank the Municipality of Chianciano Terme, the Municipality of Città della Pieve, our Moto Clubs and Members and all the organizations that are allowing us to organize this event".

Plus de 25 nations différentes défilent. Chacun avec son groupe de représentants, son porte-drapeau et son propre hymne. Il ne s'agit pas d'un avant-goût des prochains Jeux Olympiques, mais de ce qui s'est passé ce matin à Chianciano Terme, où a eu lieu la Présentation des Nations, l'événement qui a donné le coup d'envoi de la 77ème édition du Rallye FIM. De l’Autriche à l’Espagne en passant par le Mexique, la Libye, la Finlande, la Norvège, la France, le Portugal, le Danemark. Les plus de 1000 motocyclistes venus de toute l'Europe et d'ailleurs pour participer à l'événement de mototourisme le plus important de 2024 ont coloré les rues du splendide centre historique de Chianciano, donnant vie à un tout nouveau format d'événement. En effet, après avoir laissé leurs motos, les participants, regroupés par pays d'origine, ont défilé à pied dans les rues de Chianciano. Chacun passant sous l'arche désormais emblématique des Rallyes FIM et, drapeau à la main, chantant leur hymne national. Pour embellir le tout et souligner le lien avec le territoire hôte, le groupe de agitateurs de drapeaux et de batteurs de la Pro Loco locale était également présent, ce qui a donné une touche historique-Renaissance évocatrice à l'événement, parfaitement en adéquation avec le lieu, le centre de Chianciano précisément. La clôture de la Présentation des Nations est revenue, comme le veut la tradition, aux motocyclistes italiens. L'Italie qui, en tant que nation organisatrice de l'événement, est hors de la ligue.

L'événement a réuni, entre autres, le maire de Chianciano Torelli Grazia, le directeur de la Commission touristique de la FIM Nuno Trêpa Leite, le directeur général adjoint et les opérations de la FIM. Le directeur Damiano Zamana et le vice-président du FMI et coordinateur de la Commission du tourisme et des loisirs du FMI, Rocco Lopardo. Après la présentation, place à la découverte du territoire. Et ses meilleurs produits. En effet, tous les motocyclistes ont visité Chianciano et, grâce au soutien de Pro Loco, ont dégusté certains des meilleurs produits culinaires que la région offre, comme les cantucci et les pici faits à la main en ce moment. Dans la soirée, tous les participants se sont retrouvés à Palamontepaschi, où l'ouverture du Rallye FIM 2024 a été officiellement annoncée par Nuno Trêpa Leite et Rocco Lopardo, avant de laisser place à la fête et à l'animation musicale

Nuno Leite, Directeur de la Commission du Tourisme FIM: « Aujourd'hui, le Rallye FIM s'est ouvert et je suis. Je suis sûr que, grâce à la collaboration entre la Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme et la Fédération Italienne de Motocyclisme, cette édition donnera de grandes émotions à tous les participants. Le nombre élevé d'inscriptions démontre que le tourisme moto est en bonne santé et que les motocyclistes ont une forte envie de partager et de profiter de la moto. Je les salue tous au nom de la FIM. Joyeux Rallye FIM ! »
